What is The Members Area?
The Fairy Online Community Information System, commonly known as the Members Area, is a customized edition of Daios ("Software"), a web-based Content Management System (CMS)
developed and managed by Clay Brinkman,
The Sugar Plump Fairies' web guy.
Confused? Think of it this way: FOCIS is what you see (the graphics, the information); Daios is how you see it. Daios is the software that gathers, stores, processes, and displays the information you see inside the Member's Area. This includes information such as your name, membership level, username, email address, emailing lists, and any modules inside such as the calendar, discussion board, documents, chat room, and more. FOCIS is the part of the Software that gives this information the "Fairy Touch."
This Software has been provided by license to The Sugar Plump Fairies.
What does the Members Area do?
FOCIS is the entirity of The Sugar Plump Fairies' Members Area. The Members Area was created as a way to spread information among members of The Sugar Plump Fairies. This system manages user information relating to membership,
login, profile information, and cross-member communication including mailing lists and member forums. This Software also manages the public Photo Gallery, and provides members the ability to upload to their photos live to the Gallery.
Is My Information Secure?
Yes. User credential information is stored in a secure database. Passwords are automatically encrypted at registration, and are stored in the database in this encrypted format.

Access to the Members Area is restricted to registered members of The Sugar Plump Fairies. In order to access the system, you must be an active, paid member of the Fairies.
